Growthdeck has a dedicated panel of industry experts all with many years of experience in building and managing successful businesses. The panel covers multiple industry sectors and exists to help Growthdeck provide the best level of service to our investors and fund-raising businesses.

The Growthdeck panel understand the industry sectors in which our fund-raising businesses operate. Their expertise helps us identify and assess what we believe to be the best investment opportunities. Their experience in building and managing similar businesses means we can also provide a fantastic level of support to the leadership teams that will be managing the companies you invest in going forward.

David Harding - Growthdeck
David Harding
David is former CEO of William Hill and is currently deputy chairman of Malaysia’s largest lottery. He is closely involved with CVC and other major private equity houses and is an active EIS investor.
Steve Robinson - Growthdeck
Steve Robinson
Steve is former CEO of online retailer ACHICA, and career roles include Argos CFO, Tesco Direct CEO, M and M Direct CEO and B&Q Customer Director. He brings a wealth of digital experience as well as extensive connections in various industry sectors.
Kevin Bacon - Growthdeck
Kevin J Bacon
Kevin has over twenty years experience in the hospitality industry, including restaurants, leisure and consumer entertainment. During this time he has been a main Board Director of The Restaurant Group PLC, co-founder of the highly successful Frankie and Benny’s brand, and Managing Director of Jamie Oliver International. Kevin also has a specialist consulting practice, which focuses on industry due diligence mandates and providing commercial and operational overviews and opinion. Recent mandates include the purchase of Cote Restaurants Ltd and Byron Ltd.
Lucien Bartram - Growthdeck
Lucien Bartram
Lucien read Mathematics and Philosophy at St Andrews, and then went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant before moving into the pharmaceutical Industry. He has worked in the healthcare and technology sector for over 20 years. He has run Globe for the last 13 years, a niche healthcare technology business based in Surrey.
Graham Brown - Growthdeck
Graham Brown
An experienced business manager and entrepreneur, originally from a senior position internationally with ICI, Graham set up AIMS Group in 1993, growing this into one of the largest health and safety compliance consultancies in the UK, which he sold to Alfred McAlpine in 2003. Graham was one of the founding directors of Scotia Wind, which was sold to Gaz De France in 2008, and is currently the CEO of Burcote Wind, an independent renewable energy company that specialises in onshore wind projects.
Mike Molesworth - Growthdeck
Mike Molesworth
A prominent business leader and serial investor, Mike has been CEO at vehicle manufacturer Dennis-Eagle since 2000. Prior to that he had spells at Massey Ferguson and the RAC and brings to Growthdeck unparallelled experience of, and insight into, the automotive sector.
Stephen Thomas - Growthdeck
Stephen Thomas
An experienced leisure sector entrepreneur, Stephen founded nightclub operator Luminar Leisure which became the largest nightclub operator in the UK and joined the FTSE 250. Stephen is founder and partner of Exeat Leisure which runs nightclubs and live music venues.

We will be appointing more sector experts to the Growthdeck Panel over the coming weeks.

The panel will:

  • Identify new and exciting opportunities within their specific industry sectors

  • Provide expertise in assessing and scrutinizing investment opportunities

  • Help Growthdeck produce thorough, insightful and consistent offer material

  • Work with management teams to help drive forward successfully-funded businesses

  • Where appropriate, panel members may take board positions on individual businesses
