We recently raised over £1m for CFP Composites (formerly known as Carbon Fibre Preforms), which has developed a patented new form of carbon fibre composite which could revolutionise the train, aeronautical, shipbuilding, and oil and gas drilling industries worldwide.
This investment was a first for us in terms of co-investing, with £750,000 of Midlands Engine Investment Fund money being contributed through venture capital firm Midven.
