Over the past 18 months, portfolio company Fissara – provider of a SaaS resource management solution – has been building a specific position around its product for the Asian market and we are pleased to report that it is starting to gain traction.
Fissara now has a small, dedicated sales team in the country, with an office in Mumbai, and a pipeline of prospective customers.
We are really delighted with the progress they [the sales team] are making as the pipeline for our software begins to grow ... As you can imagine, the software market just in India alone is very crowded. Providing a multitude of great features doesn’t always make you or your products stand out. What people really need is software that has the core strength for solving few and critical problems in an effective way.
– Jon Holttum, co-founder at Fissara
Fortunately, Fissara’s software does this with ease, and the features enjoyed by UK customers translate well into the Indian culture.
We would like to send our congratulations to the Fissara team for reaching this milestone. They were our first fundraise after launch, where we raised £500,000 to grow, enhance and fully commercialise their cloud software solution.
Fissara’s impressive UK customer base now includes O2 and Motorola Solutions, and it recently welcomed Comvergent on board. Over the summer, Fissara also released a new property maintenance app – Gophix. This was a key addition to the company’s existing product suite, and it’s the latest part of their journey towards fully digitising Operational Maintenance.
