We are excited to announce that we won ‘Best Place to Work’ at the inaugural Growth Finance Awards, as well as picking up One To Watch in the ‘Best Customer Experience’ category.

These industry Awards were launched to recognise and celebrate the companies offering “more than finance” to the UK’s growing businesses, providing the vital capital and wider support needed to help thousands of businesses to scale-up, boost productivity and create new jobs up and down the country.

There were 47 finalists in total, and 15 trophies, so we’re delighted to have been recognised for the diversity, working culture and team dynamic we have achieved here across our two offices, as well as for the high levels of customer service which we provide to the businesses we back.

Our CEO, Ian Zant-Boer, says: “It’s been a hugely exciting year for Growthdeck, with substantial growth in the size of our team, which has more than doubled in size to almost 30 in the past year as the business scales up. It’s a very clear vote of confidence in our plan that we’re seen as the industry’s best place to work – and it’s something we’re very proud of.”

“Our successful fundraise earlier this year has allowed us to add some exceptional talent to the team, which means we’re now offering an enhanced service to our fundraising and portfolio businesses. We offer far more than just the provision of money, including an ongoing and extensive support programme, from both the Growthdeck core team, who have decades of combined experience in private equity, and from our innovative panel of high-profile sector experts who provide invaluable hands-on support and mentoring to the businesses throughout the lifetime of our involvement – from fundraise right through to investment exit.”

Congratulations to all the other finalists and category-winners – for a full list, please see the Growth Finance Awards website.
