We are delighted to announce that Becky Hodges, who will already be a familiar face to many in our investor network, has been promoted to Head of Business Development and has also taken up a position on our board.

Becky has a wealth of experience in client relationship management roles, having previously worked for the likes of the Royal Bank of Scotland and Merrill Lynch. She was also with JP Morgan for nine years, where she worked in a variety of roles, and spent three years working in Hong Kong for the business before later relocating back to the UK.

Becky joined Growthdeck in 2021 following an introduction from one of our shareholders and initially worked as our dedicated Campaign Manager before then moving into a Relationship Director role.

Her primary focus is on building and managing relationships with our investor network, with personal contact being a key part of our offering. She also continues to manage our fundraising campaigns which involves working closely with our investee companies to ensure a collaborative and clear process for all involved.

Many readers will recognise Becky from our online ‘meet the management’ sessions, which she hosts in conjunction with members of our Investment team, and she also plays a key role at our in-person events.

Becky’s promotion coincides with the recent appointment of hospitality and leisure sector expert Ann Elliott, who has now joined our advisory board and will be helping us to analyse potential investments in those sectors and advising our investee companies on how to implement their expansion plans.
