Kieron Launder, who took up the position of Head of Investment earlier this year, has now been appointed as our new Chairman.
Kieron has over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, working in a number of senior private banking roles, including at Citibank and Lazard.
He was previously Chief Investment Officer at Schroder & Co (the private banking arm of the global investment manager) and, prior to that, he also headed up the strategic investment advisory service at Rothschild private bank, where he advised on long-term investing and specific risk mitigation.
Kieron first joined our advisory board in 2021, where he provided input into new prospective investment opportunities.
After deciding he wanted to become more closely involved with the business, he then took on the role as Head of Investment, which is a position he will continue in alongside his new Chairman appointment.
Our CEO, Ian Zant-Boer, says:
“Kieron’s very extensive experience within wealth management and investment strategy will be invaluable to Growthdeck. With Kieron becoming Chairman, he will lead the board and play a key role in driving our growth strategy.”
Kieron comments:
“I am delighted to take on the role as Chairman of Growthdeck, helping the firm continue its excellent work identifying exciting growth investment opportunities for our network of HNW investors. Growthdeck is playing an important role in both democratising private equity and providing much needed equity investment to UK smaller companies.”
